GENERAL OPHTHALMOLOGY & EYE CHECKUPS

The right technology for the right eye

Modern ophthalmology offers more diagnostic, lens and surgical options than ever before. The value of that technology lies in choosing it well.

For glaucoma, cataract and complex anterior segment disease, the plan depends on the anatomy of the eye, disease severity, previous surgery, visual needs and the long-term options that should remain available.

The objective is not to use the newest procedure by default, but to select the most appropriate strategy for the individual eye and explain clearly why it is being recommended.

Complex eyes require a different plan

Previous surgery, glaucoma, weak lens support, aphakia, iris abnormalities or a displaced intraocular lens can turn an apparently routine problem into a more complex surgical decision.

Dr Seif’s advanced anterior segment practice focuses on these situations, particularly when several problems need to be considered together.

COMPLEX ANTERIOR SEGMENT & LENS SURGERY
